AvoCacao Pots de Crème


Friend, meet chocolate.

Chocolate, meet my…bahahahaha who am I kidding. You two go wayyy back. You know that feeling when summer comes around and you put on a bathing suit for the first time and you think to yourself, “for real this time, my diet starts tomorrow. goodbye chocolate. goodbye ice cream. goodbye happiness,” yes? It’s time to say goodbye to that feeling forever bc I’m a firm believer that you *can* have your cake and eat it too.

Luckily, my sweet friend Nadia of Body Unburdened is on the same page.

Speaking of pagesss…she WROTE A BOOK. It’s called “Glow, the Nutritional Approach to Naturally Glowing Skin” and it full of uh-mazing all natural healing recipes like this one. Nadia is amazing and has helped me soo much with using less toxins in my skincare routine and cleaning process (okay fine, I still don’t clean *that* much, but when I do) and this book is full of all-natural tips and delicious skin-loving recipes. But I'm done talking bc just LOOK AT THIS RECIPE.

AvoCacao Pots De Creme

(Excerpt from the new book: Glow–The Nutritional Approach to Naturally Gorgeous Skin, page 103)


  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 3 tbsp raw honey
  • 3 tbsp extra-virgin coconut oil
  • 4 tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • pinch of sea salt


Peel and pit the avocados.

In a medium bowl, mash the avocados with a fork.

Add the raw honey and coconut oil. Stir to combine, but don't worry about consistency.

Add the cacao powder and stir to combine.

Transfer the mixture to a blender or food processor and add the vanilla. Blend or process on low speed until you have a smooth and consistent pudding texture.

Pour the mixture into a bowl or small ramekins and let chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes so it has time to set.

Sprinkle with the sea salt just before serving.
