Videos are like...really cool.
But they're also kinda hard to make. I spent 2 full days on a video shoot for Quaker Oats this spring and it took 12 people, 7 venues, and I don't even know how many cameras, lights, light stands, and all the equipment slash video magic to bring it all together. For a maybe...7 minute video? Not exactly sure because it's been in post-production for 5 months now.
Do you see what I mean?!! Full on, legit video is H-A-R-D. But what we're about to do?
This is Instagrammable easy peasy magic.
So If you're reading this I'm assuming a couple of things:
1. You know how to take pictures. (like, any kind of pictures, so to be clear, my 4 yr old qualifies)
2. You are open to learning or know how to use Photoshop.
Listen, there are other [more janky] ways to do this, just search "GIF maker" or something like that on the App Store and I'm sure you'll find something. (I don't really know because I've never looked but I have seen them so I know they exist in theory.)
I personally love janky and free, but I'm also a big freaking fan of looking LEGIT. So without further ado, here's the (professional but super easy) how to make a legit GIF. And if you have no idea what I'm talking about, give it 5 seconds and I'll show you what I mean.
